Saurday Outing @ East Coast Park

This is my Nth time of Saturday outing with my lovely family. But there is something new this time - my 1st brand new "Ferrari" stroller - that's what my wai po called it. ;p

Mummy, Daddy and Wai Po just had a yummy meal of Lor Mee and Nasi Lemak at Amoy Street. I had been a goody girl, playing on my own while they tucked into their lunch.

I m looking out for cars.. We are going to our next destination - East Coast Park! Yipee!!

It has been a great Saturday except for the sudden heavy pour in the mid-noon. But that makes the leaves in East Coast Park look greener, and the air smells fresher! And it sets the mood right for me to think through... ;p

My Saturday, Surrounded By Baby Chloe, Hubby and Mum

My baby Chloe is getting rather interesting. She actually has a preference for a particular breast for the day. Whenever I got the wrong breast for the day, she will frown (just like the Dad) and will then cry at the top of her voice. Immediately, upon switching to the next breast, she will switch to her moderate temperament and will enjoy the drink thoroughly.

Remarkable baby.

Anyway, she is just like my hubby -- not only in facial features, but also in temperament. She is impatient, driven to attain her goals and loves to think deep (at least that's what I decipher from her frowns). :-)

By the way, I just changed the diapers of my baby Chloe and this has been a routine for me since the day she was born. I am glad that my hubby and my mum help out. Raising a child really takes a combined effort.

Baby Chloe was kinda cheeky today. She refused to "poo poo" this morning when coaxed to. However, slightly 5 minutes after her bath, and into our clean diapers, she "poo poo", much to our amuse and frustration. Haha. Of course, we forgave her readily. She is afterall our little darling.

How can I help my child develop healthy eating habits?

• Don't overfeed your baby. Watch for cues that she's full.

• Don't try to make your child eat food he doesn't like. Respect her preferences and avoid power struggles over food.

• Try to provide a balance of protein, carbohydrates, fruits, and vegetables. Use sweets, salts, and fats in moderation.

• Avoid fast food for as long as possible.

• Don't bribe or reward your child with food. Instead, offer plenty of hugs, kisses, and attention.

• Feed your baby in his highchair whenever possible, rather than in front of the television or on the go.

Remember to feed your baby with a balanced diet as well. Ensure that the nutrients that you provide for your baby is balanced, and not skewed to only certain preferences. :-)
